'La casa de Bernarda Alba' was an adaptation of the play of Federico Garcia Lorca.  I placed focus on the raw humanity of the characters to bring out a story of sisterhood. I aimed to bring out the vulnerable and unseen side of these iconic characters.

​As a cast made of a majority of Spanish actresses, I aimed to reclaim our heritage through the inclusion of flamenco. A dance I studied since I was 3 years old. 'La casa de Bernarda Alba' is born from the union of the truth of Adela, Martirio, Magdalena and Angustias with our experiences as migrants in Scotland. A unique spectacle that marks a new step in my artistic career.
